A day at the office

Thurs. Sept 24th - Quick trip to ECVR this morning for a blood draw. Calcium = 10.9, again the fluids & the Prednisone helped lower the number. They also gave Steve an appetite stimulant Rx. Sam went to work with Steve and enjoyed napping by Steve's chair, seeing old friends & making some new ones. Thanks to everyone for being so friendly to Sam - we do appreciate it! The appetite stimulant seems to be helping - he ate a small lunch & dinner. We gave him a liter of subcutaneous fluids - ½ in the morning & ½ this evening. We also scheduled an appointment with Dr. Ruslander at VSH next Wed. 9/30 for a Palladia chemo treatment but haven't decided about the CT scan.
