The solution to pollution is dilution

Sun. Nov 1st - We gave him 1000 mL of fluids, ½ a Mirtazapine, one Prilosec & three Sucralfate. We all slept late to recover from a long day on Saturday. Sam & Mushka had a long walk today and enjoyed some time on the screen porch. He seemed to be feeling a little better today & his pollutants are improving. We'll see if he feels up to Palladia tomorrow. When we met with Dr. Ruslander on Friday we asked his thoughts on continuing with the daily fluids for Sam. His response was "the solution to pollution is dilution". In other words, he said the fluids were helping Sam to flush the calcium from his system & we should continue. He did say we could give him all 1000 mL at a time to keep from having to stick him with a needle twice a day. Sam doesn't seem to mind this change in the schedule.
