ECVR visit

Wed. Dec 30th - We gave Sam 1000 mL of fluids, one Prilosec, three magnesium tablets, three Sucralfate, two Prednisone, 11 Tramadol, 6 Cephalexin, & 2 Ciprofloxacin. We had an apt with Dr. Stoll at ECVR today. Sam's calcium is 10.2mg/dL which is good news. A few of his other results concerned Dr. Stoll including his BUN, RBC & HCT. We discussed them and plan to keep a close watch on him. His magnesium results should be back tomorrow. We discussed his recent stay in the ER and what we think caused his problems breathing. She said we could begin to reduce the Tramadol pain Rx to see how he responds. Sam was not happy about going back to ECVR and trembled a lot but was more than happy to leave.
