slick step

Sat. Jan 30th - We gave Sam 1000 mL of fluids, one Prilosec, two Prednisone, & 12 Tramadol. Cold & rainy today so Sam & Moo stayed inside most of the day. Sam did seem to be feeling better and is enjoying Moo's kibble followed by a can of beans for each meal. When it got colder tonight we let the pups out but didn't realize the steps had frozen. Sam slipped when coming back inside. There are just two steps but his back legs are weak and he couldn't do it. Steve had to go out & help get up the steps. We now know we need to go with him each trip out to keep him from slipping. Poor pup.
