Tues. Sept 1st - Friday Sept. 4th - all week we've been hoping Sam's calcium levels would come down following the surgery on Monday but this has not been the case. Dr. Stoll slowly reduced the IV fluids to see if his body could flush the calcium on its own. The calcium levels went up with the IV fluids were lowered so she recommended Chemo to help lower the calcium. We hope to bring him home tomorrow. She administered the chemo herself tonight and have him a reduced amount. He did not have any adverse reactions so now we wait to see if the calcium comes down and how well Sam handles the Chemo.
