Calcium down - pleasant surprise

Thurs. Nov 19th - We gave Sam 1000 mL of fluids, ½ a Mirtazapine, one Prilosec & one 250mg magnesium tablet. Sam went to work with Steve after his blood draw at ECVR. They faxed Sam's results this morning & his Calcium is came down to 11.2mg/dL - a wonderful surprise. We were worried after the 11.8 on Tues that we would be at a higher number today. We are not getting too excited - just taking it day by day. Dr. Stoll called early today and was equally happy with the lower number. She seemed to think us continuing the fluids helped but there is no way to know. We are grateful for everyday we have with him. He is still eating well and sleeping near us. As you can see below, he sticks close to Mushka too.
