Calcium good & BUN high

Mon. Jan 4th - We gave Sam 1000 mL of fluids, one Prilosec, three magnesium tablets, three Sucralfate, two Prednisone, 12 Tramadol, 6 Cephalexin, & 2 Ciprofloxacin. Steve took Sam to ECVR this morning. His calcium is 10 mg/dL which is great but his BUN is continuing to climb & is 52 mg/dL. His RBC and HCT were very low today - we hope to talk to Dr. Stoll about these Tuesday. He had more energy at lunch than we've seen recently & even played tug with Mushka.
