Mon. Feb 8th - We gave Sam 1000 mL of fluids, one Prilosec, two Prednisone, & 8 Tramadol. Back to work for us & back to the routine for the pups. Sam is such a good dog & goes into his cage area without any issues. At lunch he & Mushka played tug and enjoyed some time outside. Tonight he let us know just how tired he is of the fluid routine. When he came back inside he got on the futon and made himself as small as possible, hoping we wouldn't put him through the needle and fluids. We don't enjoy doing this to him but know it helps. As I mentioned yesterday his tail seems weaker and more boney than normal. He always had such a thick tail, we are sad to see this change.
