Good magnesium results

Thurs. Dec 31st - We gave Sam 1000 mL of fluids, one Prilosec, three magnesium tablets, three Sucralfate, two Prednisone, 9 Tramadol, 6 Cephalexin, & 2 Ciprofloxacin. Sam seemed a more bit tired today but still went for a short walk this morning. He enjoyed some naps on the screen porch & some snuggle time on the sofa. ECVR called with his magnesium results are 1.7 mEq/L which is within the normal range. They want to see him back Monday to recheck him and if his magnesium is still acceptable then we will be able to reduce his daily magnesium dose. We enjoyed an evening with the pups and are just glad to have Sam with us.
