Tues. Dec 22nd - We gave Sam 1000 mL of fluids, one Prilosec, two magnesium tablets, two Sucralfate, two Prednisone & 12 Tramadol. Sam has an appointment for his 3rd round of the Pamidronate, bisphosphonate drug Wednesday. I spoke to Dr. Stoll today. We wanted to make sure every thing was on schedule and that none of the medications we are giving him would interfere with the bisphosphonate. She said the meds he is on are fine and the plan is to bring him to ECVR first thing Wed. and pick him up late afternoon. As usual ,we are anxious about the treatment and his day away from home but think the other treatments have helped keep his calcium within the normal range.
We weren't sure we'd have Sam until Christmas but are grateful that we do. In this chilly weather, we are all enjoying extra snuggle time with him on the sofa. Well...not Mushka, he just sits across the room and judges us but we don't mind.
