Thurs. Jan 14th - We gave Sam 1000 mL of fluids, one Prilosec, one magnesium tablet, two Sucralfate, two Prednisone, & 12 Tramadol. We wrapped Sam in warm towels to keep him warm thru the night Wednesday following his bath. He had more energy at lunch today & played with Moo in the back yard. His bruises seem to be improving gradually which is good news. His legs do seem slightly weaker when he is playing with Moo or stepping up on the dog futon.
Steve picked up more prescription for Sam from ECVR. The Rx tramadol that Sam is taking is isn't a controlled substance but is a strong pain killer. We realized this even more after seeing the ECVR note on his Rx bag that his tramadol was in the locked safe at their office. Hope we aren't getting Sam hooked on pain meds.
